Responsibilities

  • Administer and support SimCorp Data Management and cloud SaaS environments for internal and external clients.
  • Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Apply operating system, database, and infrastructure patches according to current standards.
  • Conduct proofs of concept with Cloud Services Architects to evaluate new solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated builds, deployments, and integrations.
  • Create automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to improve operational efficiency.
  • Streamline release and deployment processes for faster and more reliable delivery.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes in alignment with SRE practices.
  • Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and annual VAPT exercises.
  • Produce operational metrics and reports supporting SOC2 and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain security and high availability across environments.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams on integration and delivery.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve technical issues and improve service quality.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing cloud applications in the financial sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Extensive experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Practical Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Citrix, Oracle Container PDB, Functions, Monitoring, Insights, and Billing.
  • Strong Windows and Linux server administration skills, plus Oracle administration, PL/SQL, XML, and virtualization experience with VMware or Citrix.
  • Experience with Azure pipelines, AWS Lambda, Azure scripting, infrastructure creation, application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and related tooling.
  • Understanding of monitoring, alerting, incident management, IT systems administration, IT security operations, and financial data management.
  • Familiarity with SOC2, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
  • ITIL and ITOps experience in an agile environment.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, presentation, listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient client-facing skills and a proactive, results-driven approach.
