Responsibilities
- Understand how features work and identify potential failure points.
- Review requirements and user stories to find gaps and risks.
- Design and execute functional, integration, performance, and reliability tests.
- Build and maintain automated tests for APIs, services, and user workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Help the team deliver quickly while maintaining product quality.
- Improve test automation and development workflows.
- Maintain test environments for engineering and QA.
- Utilize modern development tools to enhance testing coverage and efficiency.
- Review AI-generated code or tests for correctness and relevance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience writing scripts using tools like Bash.
- Comfortable working in Linux or Unix environments.
- Experience designing and executing automated tests.
- Ability to think critically about systems and identify failure scenarios.
- Curiosity and willingness to ask questions about system functionality.
- Interest in modern engineering practices including automation and AI-assisted development.
