Base Salary
$295k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and define the long-term technical vision for source code search, storage, code review, and CI infrastructure.
- Architect local development tools, internal web applications and microservices, reusable CI workflows, productivity metrics toolchains, and third-party integrations.
- Lead company-wide efforts to improve the productivity and user experience of source and CI tools.
- Define the use of AI and other emerging technologies in Roblox engineers’ daily workflows.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and promote architectural and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 9+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience owning developer productivity, build infrastructure, or internal developer platform systems at scale.
- Experience designing, launching, and evolving tools or systems used by developers at scale, including environments supporting 2,000+ engineers.
- Deep knowledge of source control and/or continuous integration tools and infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud and hosting technologies, particularly AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Hashistack technologies.
- Fluency in at least one of C#, Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives and mentoring engineers at all levels.
