Responsibilities
- Take ownership of backend architecture and implementation across multiple products.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable production APIs and backend services.
- Build and operate high-performance distributed systems for large user bases.
- Design backend systems focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
- Integrate blockchain systems and maintain indexing for on-chain data.
- Optimize database schemas and complex queries for scalability.
- Diagnose and solve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Continuously improve backend architecture and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in building and operating production backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern backend frameworks.
- Understanding of backend architecture, API design, and distributed systems.
- Proven track record with large-scale backend systems in production.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and managing production databases.
- Familiarity with Web2 applications and blockchain infrastructure.
- Understanding of wallet architecture and DeFi protocols.
