Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Collaborate with Java and Spring Boot teams to integrate PL/SQL logic into backend services.
- Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance and scalability.
- Support data migration activities, ETL processes, and integration across multiple systems.
- Participate in database design, schema reviews, and code quality checks.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues, production incidents, and database bottlenecks.
- Maintain technical documentation and improve development standards, code quality, and automation practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Strong understanding of SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance.
- Experience with Oracle tools including TOAD and SQL Developer.
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for backend integrations.
- Knowledge of data modeling, relational design, and normalization principles.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JDBC, or ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in Agile environments and communicate technical topics clearly.
- Preferred experience with Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, and ETL tools such as Informatica or ODI.
