Base Salary
$183k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of embedded flight software and compute solutions for aircraft and autonomy applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for a small multidisciplinary embedded, electrical, and avionics team.
- Drive software trade studies, architecture decisions, and tooling choices.
- Collaborate with GNC, Flight Test, Aero, Hardware, and Program teams on milestones, vehicle bring-up, and integration.
- Contribute directly to the software architecture and codebase while supporting robust and reliable delivery.
- Design and lead development of automated, hardware-in-the-loop, and software-in-the-loop embedded systems test frameworks.
Requirements
- Balance leadership, management, and direct technical contribution in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in real-time, safety-critical embedded software development.
- Experience developing and integrating fit-for-purpose compute solutions.
- Experience with hardened or real-time Linux platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in C++, Python, and Git.
- Track record of bringing complex products to market.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 to meet U.S. export control requirements.
- Preferred: experience with developer experience workstreams, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting tooling.
- Preferred: experience leading agile software teams in robotics, ground vehicles, or aerospace applications.
- Preferred: experience with the Bazel build system and Rust.
Benefits
- Target base pay is $183,000–$252,000 per year, plus Restricted Stock Units.
