Responsibilities
- Build and optimize features for high-scale native Android music applications.
- Design technical solutions, participate in architecture discussions, and conduct code reviews.
- Research and prototype emerging Android technologies and audio frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams and support fellow engineers.
- Use Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines to manage development workflows.
- Debug complex production issues and help ensure high application availability.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong Kotlin skills, including Coroutines, Flow, and Kotlin Serialization.
- Production experience with Jetpack Compose, State Hoisting, and Material Design 3.
- Deep understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, StateFlow, sealed class state machines, and the repository pattern.
- Proficiency with Jetpack Navigation, Room, and DataStore.
- Experience with Hilt or Dagger for dependency injection.
- Experience integrating REST APIs using Ktor or Retrofit.
- Familiarity with unit testing using JUnit and MockK and with UI testing fundamentals.
- Experience with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and AdMob SDK.
- Comfort using AI coding agents such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred experience includes Media3/ExoPlayer, audio processing, GLSL shaders, WorkManager, Supabase, ProGuard/R8, KSP, and ad mediation platforms such as AppLovin MAX, Meta, and ironSource.
