Responsibilities
- Develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems on a collaborative team.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities, process requirements, and reviews.
- Perform software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, modeling and simulation, integration, and testing.
- Create SysML model-based systems engineering artifacts and support radar systems development, algorithms, software, data analysis, and simulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, maintenance, or support in relevant open/layered architecture, operating environment, modeling, information assurance, tools development, safety analysis, real-time data analysis, problem analysis, or systems integration contexts.
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- High proficiency in C++ or an equivalent object-oriented language, Matlab, and scripting languages.
- Experience in at least two areas including systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
- Solid-state or other radar experience, including radar algorithms, software, data analysis, modeling, simulation, and familiarity with radar modeling tools.
- Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing, plus functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and designs.
- Experience with Java, C++, or Python; Linux and UNIX environments; Eclipse or similar IDEs; UML; object-oriented design and design patterns; and driver-based or automated test environments.
- Experience with Agile scaled principles and creating SysML artifacts in Cameo or a similar tool.
- Preferred experience with ClearCase, JIRA, xUnit, JUnit, CPPUnitLite, CMMI Level 5 lifecycle processes, and assemblers.
