Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web, mobile, cloud, server, and distributed computing applications.
- Build and support scalable digital platform components and business-focused application features.
- Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems, including off-shift and weekend support issues.
- Work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components used by multiple applications.
- Mentor software engineers and provide technical assistance, direction, and guidance.
- Establish software quality practices, documentation, user guides, and structured application or interface code.
- Communicate with end users and internal customers to direct development, debugging, and testing.
- Plan and execute integrated testing and customer acceptance testing.
- Manage individual assignments, coordinate work with others, set priorities, and establish work plans.
- Demonstrate leadership on small- to medium-scale projects affecting strategic priorities.
Requirements
- A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least three years of experience designing and developing software applications with ReactJS is required.
- At least five years of software development experience, or at least three years with a master’s degree in computer science or a related field, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated leadership on small- to medium-scale projects impacting strategic priorities.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software at scale.
- Preferred experience with relational and NoSQL databases, application architecture patterns, CI/CD tools, and public cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience with Java, HTML5, CSS, Sass, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, Redux, Jest, React Testing Library, Git, Node, and NPM.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints, with passion for technology and a team-oriented approach.
