Senior Associate/Vice President - Lead Software Developer

Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance the existing portfolio management system and develop new functionality
- Maintain and upgrade application code and the web user interface while balancing responsiveness and reliability
- Own the systems and plan large-scale expansion and integration for the next-generation platform
- Support portfolio rebalancing, analytics generation, monitoring, and daily investment processes
- Perform hands-on front-end and back-end software development
- Interface with third parties and collaborate with internal business groups
- Support critical production systems
- Mentor and coach junior members of the investment technology team
Requirements
- A degree in a related field such as computer science, computer systems, or engineering
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience for the Senior Associate level
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience for the VP level, including 2–3 years leading software development projects
- Strong Python programming experience and experience with SQL and ETL processes
- Experience supporting critical production systems
- Willingness to contribute across the technology stack
- Strong project management and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
- AWS, Airflow, Git, Bash, and Jira experience is a strong plus
- Expertise in Pandas is desirable
- Knowledge of Dash or Flask is desirable
- Docker and/or Kubernetes experience is desirable
- Understanding of PostgreSQL database management and administration is desirable
- Experience with Aristotle or Volcano-X trading platform integration APIs is desirable
- Familiarity with Addepar and Salesforce is desirable
