Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and operation of infrastructure components for global edge points of presence.
- Deliver cloud-native features end to end, from requirements and implementation through testing and production rollout.
- Build observability and troubleshooting tooling using metrics, logs, tracing, and profiling.
- Develop automation to improve incident-response efficiency.
- Collaborate with SRE, platform, and product teams to build standardized and reusable platform capabilities for traffic-intensive services.
Requirements
- Currently pursue or recently completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating within the past year or by the expected start date.
- Have a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Have programming experience in one or more of Go, C, or Rust through coursework, projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
- Have familiarity with Linux and a basic understanding of containers, distributed systems, or networking concepts.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ownership, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Preferred: internship, co-op, or research experience in backend or systems development, cloud-native technologies, or infrastructure.
- Preferred: hands-on Kubernetes and container experience, cloud-native open-source contributions, deeper Linux and networking knowledge, or exposure to CDN, live streaming, RTC, or similar edge architectures.
