Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write Ansible playbooks to provision infrastructure and network services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop Go task engines that apply and rebuild network configuration on Cloud Exchange Point nodes at scale.
- Integrate new virtual network functions and extend configuration and task models.
- Build Python tooling and CLIs for inspecting, configuring, and debugging the networking stack.
- Investigate production provisioning issues to their root cause and collaborate with Routing, Data Path, and Backend teams.
- Participate in the mandatory orchestration on-call rotation and help resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Strong software fundamentals including data structures, problem-solving, clean code, and debugging.
- Hands-on coding experience in at least one of C, Python, or Go, with willingness to learn the others.
- Comfort working in Linux environments with shell commands, processes, logs, and networking tools.
- Hands-on familiarity with TCP/IP and core networking concepts.
- Working knowledge of at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including VPCs/VNets, subnets, and security groups.
- A debugging mindset and curiosity about networks and cloud systems.
- Preferred qualifications include Ansible or configuration-automation experience, CLI or task-runner development, automation at scale, and familiarity with firewalls and load balancers.
