Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and support ecommerce fulfillment systems.
- Own technical direction and architecture for systems integrating with enterprise-scale ERP platforms.
- Use AI toolsets to improve engineering throughput, quality, and reliability and share AI capabilities across teams.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, user-focused features.
- Improve architecture, performance, scalability, reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Break down large initiatives, communicate status and dependencies, and provide technical documentation and onboarding materials.
- Simplify legacy components and reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong ecommerce background.
- Hands-on experience using AI toolsets for productivity and development acceleration.
- Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
- Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and design patterns including pub/sub and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-first architecture using AWS or GCP.
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, creative thinking, and strategic thinking skills.
