Responsibilities
- Support implementation of security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to automation across infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls.
- Assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining secure delivery pipelines and paths to production.
- Support the platform in line with the infrastructure strategy while working with technical and engineering teams.
- Review existing automation solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and operation of IaaS, PaaS, and platform tooling capabilities.
- Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Assist with platform support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of DevOps principles and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Basic knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and software delivery lifecycle security practices.
- Exposure to Continuous Delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience or academic exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar work management tools.
- Basic Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally with Terraform.
- Some scripting or programming experience with Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS/SSL, and SSH.
- Awareness of cloud security concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog or Dynatrace is advantageous.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
