Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Contribute to automation across infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls.
  • Assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining secure delivery pipelines and paths to production.
  • Support the platform in line with the infrastructure strategy while working with technical and engineering teams.
  • Review existing automation solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support deployment, maintenance, and operation of IaaS, PaaS, and platform tooling capabilities.
  • Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and documentation.
  • Assist with platform support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of DevOps principles and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
  • Basic knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and software delivery lifecycle security practices.
  • Exposure to Continuous Delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience or academic exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar work management tools.
  • Basic Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally with Terraform.
  • Some scripting or programming experience with Python, Shell, or Bash.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS/SSL, and SSH.
  • Awareness of cloud security concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog or Dynatrace is advantageous.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
