Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and operate core simulation platform infrastructure for large-scale robotics development and learning workloads.
- Architect and scale AWS cloud-native systems for distributed job orchestration, resource management, and cost-efficient compute.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated testing infrastructure for C++ and Python codebases.
- Develop tooling for simulation environments, assets, and versioned artifacts across teams.
- Improve performance, reliability, and reproducibility through observability, profiling, and automated regression systems.
- Establish software architecture, code quality, and maintainability standards.
- Partner with robotics and research teams to productionize advanced capabilities.
- Enable automated validation, benchmarking, certification, and evaluation workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of leading system design or architecture for reliability and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, or a similar STEM field, or equivalent programming-language experience.
- Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure supporting engineering, ML, or scientific computing workflows.
- Preferred experience with accelerated, high-performance, visual/spatial, or IoT compute; Kubernetes, Docker, or containers; internal developer platforms; large C++ codebases; research-to-production transitions; robotics or simulation toolchains; Isaac Lab, MuJoCo, or Drake; scalable evaluation, benchmarking, or training workflows; and relevant open-source contributions.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field is preferred.
