Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and operate reliable, scalable, cost-optimized distributed systems and data architectures.
- Create automated data ingestion, storage, and transformation pipelines for downstream users.
- Design and operate data pipelines supporting Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers.
- Implement and champion DataOps and DevOps practices to improve reliability and deployments.
- Establish and refine data practices, architectures, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, analysts, and senior engineers to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1 year of professional experience designing, building, and operating configurable data pipelines for high-volume and high-velocity datasets.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud environments such as GCP or AWS.
- Familiarity or experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, BigQuery, or ClickHouse.
- Strong coding skills in Java with Spring Boot, SQL, and Python.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, Agile methodologies, DataOps, and cost- and performance-optimized architectures.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
