Base Salary
$187k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Salesforce solution design and delivery using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and managed packages across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Build and operate Salesforce integrations with internal platforms and external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware, ETL tooling, and contracting systems such as Ironclad.
- Create technical design documents covering security, data architecture, system limits, scalability, and trade-offs.
- Partner with product managers, architects, and Sales, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Institutional Operations stakeholders to develop technical designs and implementation plans.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and documentation of engineering patterns and runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve Salesforce engineering practices across the organization.
- Use generative AI and AI-assisted development tools responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, security and sharing models, packaging, and release management.
- Demonstrated delivery of complex Salesforce solutions in Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- Experience building and operating Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware or automation platforms, and ETL tooling.
- Experience writing technical design documents and presenting trade-off analyses to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testable architecture, separation of concerns, and performance and scalability patterns applied to Salesforce.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, Git and GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-sandbox environment management.
- Ability to use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean responsibly with human-in-the-loop practices.
