Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and deploy applications powered by enterprise LLMs using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and basic agentic workflows.
- Implement Model Context Protocol connections between AI models, data sources, and tools.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, views, and schemas.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools such as Devin to accelerate development, testing, and workflow automation.
- Perform integration and L3 support for more than 20 vendor applications in the tax reporting, tax diligence, and tax withholding domains.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, planning, application development, model development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal technology teams, IT partners, business users, and senior stakeholders on application integrations and programming solutions.
- Monitor development processes, establish operating standards, recommend security measures, assess risk, and provide user and operational support.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise LLMs such as OpenAI GPT or Anthropic Claude through APIs using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of or direct experience implementing Model Context Protocol.
- 2–5 years of backend API architecture, data validation, and security protocol experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, and query performance tuning.
- Experience with application integrations, systems analysis, software application programming, and successful project implementation.
- Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques and the ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with Devin or similar autonomous coding platforms, C# and .NET Core/.NET 8+, AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, and JIRA.
