Responsibilities
- Develop applications that comply with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design software components and individual programs and collaborate on technical designs and specifications.
- Construct unit test cases and follow software design and coding standards.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Provide production support for applications as needed.
- Apply project-appropriate software development methodologies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, project management, end users, business partners, and subject matter experts.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience developing and supporting Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
- Understanding of Apache Kafka, Oracle Database, SQL development, query optimization, data modeling, and Redis.
- Experience with Git and version-control best practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and software development lifecycle processes.
