Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents and chatbots using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
- Build context-aware dialogue systems with multi-turn conversation management.
- Develop and maintain APIs and SDKs for Generative AI service integration.
- Develop and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and server-side APIs.
- Automate deployment and apply enterprise integration and DevOps practices.
- Integrate, deploy, and monitor Generative AI products and solutions.
- Enable data architecture and AI/data analytics platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and manage multiple AI projects to delivery timelines.
- Work with senior stakeholders to shape information and analytics adoption roadmaps.
- Review requirements, identify optimization opportunities, analyze technical problems, and recommend solutions.
- Operate with awareness of risk and controls frameworks and Nomura standards.
Requirements
- At least a four-year bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and five years of relevant data experience in data engineering, Generative AI, or full-stack engineering, preferably in financial organizations; alternatively, a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics.
- Proven experience designing and developing LLM-based AI agents or chatbots, RAG solutions, and agentic systems.
- Hands-on experience building multi-turn, context-aware dialogue systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining APIs and SDKs for Generative AI services.
- Experience deploying scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and server-side APIs.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Unix scripting.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, EC2, and EMR, including hybrid data architecture and data model discussions.
- Experience with CI/CD deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Proficiency in React and hands-on UI development is advantageous.
- Experience working with multicultural, multidisciplinary, globally distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Professional certifications in AI/ML frameworks, cloud technologies, or DevOps tools such as AWS Certified Machine Learning, TensorFlow, or Kubernetes are advantageous.
