Lead Software Engineer- Full Stack-Java
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Write, review, debug, and maintain code while ensuring automated unit test coverage.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including correctness, performance, security, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture, technical capabilities, and integration with existing systems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced coding experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and REST.
- Experience writing high-quality code with automated unit test coverage using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages.
- Experience leading responsible adoption of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant use.
- Understanding of secure handling of AI inputs and outputs, data sensitivity, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS, AWS, and automation.
