Responsibilities
- Craft solution architectures, technical roadmaps, architecture artifacts, design specifications, statements of work, requirements, and scripts.
- Integrate systems across multiple domains and support cloud migration, advanced technology integration, and legacy-system modernization.
- Lead workshops and briefings, coordinate schedules, manage risks, and validate implementations against architecture intent.
- Engage government program managers to refine technical ideas into testable, milestone-oriented research concepts.
- Develop technical narratives aligned with high-risk, high-reward federal research priorities and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Mentor developers and help shape the digital solutions business and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or mission-system architecture for defense, intelligence, or federal programs.
- At least 5 years of experience developing solution architectures and technical roadmaps integrating systems across multiple domains.
- Experience producing or governing architecture artifacts such as system views, interface specifications, or decision records.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks including DoD STIGs, RMF, or NIST 800-53/171, plus infrastructure integration, networking, data flows, and segmentation.
- TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Management field.
- DoD 8140 or 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
- Preferred qualifications include experience designing and deploying AI solutions, shaping federal R&D programs and proposals, software development, and risk management practices.
