Base Salary
$145k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic workflows using AWS Step Functions and Bedrock Agents for multi-step business problems.
- Drive implementation of the Model Context Protocol across the organization for secure interaction with Smartsheet, CRM, and ERP data.
- Design high-stakes human-in-the-loop automations using UiPath Action Center as a safety gate for AI-driven decisions.
- Manage vector database indexing and retrieval strategies, including chunking and embeddings, to improve enterprise search accuracy.
- Consume REST APIs from integration and application engineering teams and transform them into user-facing AI tools.
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions while ensuring code quality and system integrity.
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on prompt engineering, MCP server development, and UiPath practices.
- Participate in a weekly production support rotation, resolve complex issues, and lead root-cause analysis.
- Support Agile/Scrum processes and consistent delivery of high-impact features.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building highly scalable applications or enterprise-grade integration services.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience building Generative AI or agentic workflow features with measurable business impact.
- Advanced experience with AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, and SQS/SNS.
- Deep knowledge of MCP, REST APIs, and OAuth.
- Expertise with UiPath Integration Service and Action Center.
- Expertise with observability platforms such as Datadog and CloudWatch in production-grade environments.
- Ability to work autonomously on large projects, create work breakdown plans, and provide regular feedback to product managers and project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
