Responsibilities
- Lead on-site and video-based discovery sessions with customers to understand workflow challenges.
- Define project scope and deliverables with customers, managing expectations through delivery.
- Build AI-powered agents, custom tools, and automated workflows for HR needs.
- Learn customers' internal systems to design fitting integrations.
- Construct adaptable solutions for customers with similar needs.
- Validate solutions for correctness and reliability before delivery.
- Transition completed engagements to the tools team with thorough documentation.
- Surface field learnings as product insights and share patterns with the team.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience on roadmap opportunities.
- Contribute to the Forward Deployed Engineering practice by improving engagement playbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping production software.
- Full-stack development experience, building and shipping independently.
- Proficiency in designing systems, data models, and architecture.
- Track record of building and deploying AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
- Fluency in context engineering for reliable agent execution.
- Ability to read unfamiliar code and perform root-cause analysis.
- Experience in reviewing code for security and privacy risks.
- Proven ability to follow safe release practices like CI/CD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience is a plus.
