Responsibilities
- Lead on-site and video-based customer discovery sessions and define what to build
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and customer expectations through delivery
- Build AI-powered agents, custom tools, and automated workflows for customers' HR needs
- Learn customer systems and data sources and design suitable integrations
- Create adaptable solutions that can be reused for customers with similar needs
- Validate solutions for correctness, reliability, and fit before delivery
- Document and transition completed engagements to the tools team
- Share field learnings and product opportunities with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience
- Apply and improve Forward Deployed Engineering playbooks, scoping frameworks, and handoff standards
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping production software
- Full-stack development experience and the ability to build and ship independently
- Experience designing systems, data models, and architectures while considering performance and data-flow tradeoffs
- A track record of building and deploying AI agents and AI-powered solutions
- Fluency in context engineering for reliable agent execution
- Ability to read unfamiliar code and perform root-cause debugging
- Experience reviewing code for security and privacy risks, including injection, data handling, and unsafe generated output
- Experience with test design and test evaluation harnesses
- Ability to follow safe release practices involving CI/CD, feature flags, staged rollouts, and rollbacks
- Strong technical documentation skills for people and agents
- Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience is a plus
