Responsibilities
- Contribute high-quality, well-tested backend code to the data migration engine.
- Collaborate with Product Management, engineers, and designers to deliver on the product roadmap.
- Participate in code reviews to enforce best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
- Provide feedback on technical design documents and pull requests.
- Perform tasks related to CI/CD, quality, and testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of commercial software development experience with a JVM language, preferably Java.
- Extensive experience with streaming data platforms like Apache Kafka and CDC tools like Debezium.
- Hands-on experience with at least one SQL database such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Exposure to client-side technologies like JavaScript and React is a plus.
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
