Responsibilities
- Collaborate with credit risk, legal, compliance, product managers, and engineers to enhance lending capabilities.
- Lead or contribute to projects from hypothesis to production, ensuring quality output.
- Build financial primitives as an individual contributor or lead on API-level building blocks.
- Design and build clean APIs with a focus on uptime, latency, compliance, and cost.
- Experiment with new approaches and share learnings to support team development.
- Manage existing Cash services and recommend improvements to engineering practices.
- Participate in candidate interviews and contribute to tech and open-source communities.
Requirements
- Embrace an AI-first mentality and leverage AI in development.
- Familiarity with agentic engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in complex systems and quality software delivery.
- Curiosity to identify and fix flaws in complex systems.
- Resilience in navigating complex situations across multiple dimensions.
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity, willing to share reasoning publicly.
