Base Salary
$140k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy complex distributed systems across Engagement Intelligence and Chorus Platform.
- Build high-volume streaming data processing services using Kafka.
- Implement real-time engagement-to-CRM entity mapping systems.
- Develop Java-based microservices and Python backend services.
- Create third-party integrations with major conference providers.
- Own customer-facing product aspects from design to production.
- Drive architectural decisions related to data modeling and performance optimization.
- Promote engineering best practices through design, documentation, and code reviews.
- Mentor and train engineers to raise the technical bar.
- Act as a technical point of contact across teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience in both Java and Python in production settings.
- 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and microservices at scale.
- 3+ years of experience with streaming data platforms, preferably Kafka.
- 4+ years of cloud experience, specifically with AWS or GCP.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD and release cycles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and driving projects independently.
