Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define multidimensional performance requirements such as MIPS and memory bandwidth in a cross-functional environment.
- Design, develop, integrate, and bring up Leo-MAC firmware components and drivers in a real-time embedded environment.
- Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use-case requirements.
- Build component use cases and test cases, and debug code in the Leo embedded environment.
- Profile and execute code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environments.
- Contribute to defining services and functionality delivered by firmware subsystems.
- Define, document, test, and debug firmware-hardware interfaces.
- Apply software and firmware best practices including clean architecture and refactoring.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee due to export-control requirements.
