Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components for optical networking platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development ceremonies.
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting across software and hardware interfaces.
  • Contribute to documentation and automation tasks that improve development workflows.
  • Learn and apply best practices in embedded systems and network software development.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ programming, especially in systems or embedded contexts.
  • Experience working with or learning Linux-based development environments.
  • Exposure to version control systems such as Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interest in networking technologies and embedded systems.
  • Python, Go, or Rust scripting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
  • Academic projects or coursework in networking, embedded systems, or telecommunications are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Docker, or Kubernetes is beneficial.
  • Interest in network telemetry, AI/ML for network optimization, or open-source contributions is beneficial.
