Base Salary
$93k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modernize, and support critical enterprise applications for Prior Authorization Operations.
- Build scalable, secure, highly available cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
- Implement Generative AI, LLM, RAG, AI agent, and agentic workflow solutions in production.
- Develop event-driven and streaming architectures and integrate enterprise applications with AI platforms.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, engineering best practices, and collaboration with Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, and business teams.
- Optimize system reliability, performance, observability, and production support operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- At least 2 years serving as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Strong Python development skills and experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar API frameworks.
- Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, event-driven solutions, and streaming systems.
- Strong Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native application development experience, including Kubernetes/GKE, Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms, BigQuery, BigTable, SQL, and large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI, LLM, RAG, AI agents, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and model evaluation frameworks.
- Experience integrating applications with Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude, or similar AI platforms.
- Strong architecture, troubleshooting, reliability, performance optimization, observability, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare or PBM experience, regulated-environment AI deployment, MLOps, AI governance, model monitoring, cloud modernization, document intelligence, OCR, business process automation, healthcare data standards, and relevant cloud, Kubernetes, AI/ML, or software architecture certifications.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
