Forward Deployed Engineer

- Build production applications within customer systems using the Studio and Lens platforms
- Deliver production technical artifacts including MCP servers, sub-agents, and workflows
- Provide white-glove deployment support for Infinitus products in enterprise environments
- Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering
- Maintain expertise in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks
- Define agentic best practices and guide customers through AI adoption
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify new AI deployment opportunities throughout engagements
- Represent and champion Infinitus’s mission in customer environments
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Software Engineer with consulting experience; technical founders are also encouraged to apply
- Production experience with LLMs, advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale
- Strong programming skills in Python and ideally one or more additional languages such as TypeScript or Java
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in complex organizations and collaborate across teams
- Strong communication skills for customer discovery and explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Passion for advancing safe, beneficial AI systems
- Preferred: healthcare, life sciences, or another enterprise vertical experience
- Preferred: experience with AI deployment patterns
- Preferred: FDE or professional services experience
