Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Develop low-latency, high-throughput applications using optimized memory management, thread optimization, and strategic data structure implementation.
- Analyze legacy application codebases and architect modernized solutions using industry-standard design patterns and best practices.
- Develop Spring Boot applications using Spring Core principles and dependency injection patterns.
- Build asynchronous communication systems using enterprise messaging and middleware technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other business functions to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and implement effective unit testing practices.
- Lead complex assignments or teams, coach employees where applicable, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Manage risk and strengthen controls in support of governance and policy objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Core Java, including multithreading, garbage collection, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput applications with advanced performance optimization.
- Ability to rapidly understand legacy application codebases with minimal guidance and modernize them using design patterns and best practices.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Core, and dependency injection.
- Hands-on experience with JMS and enterprise messaging platforms such as Solace and Kafka is desirable.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, and Maven is desirable.
- Unix/Linux command-line proficiency and shell scripting capabilities are desirable.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, communicate complex information, and manage risk and controls.
