Responsibilities
- Develop learned navigation systems integrating spatial reasoning and semantic goals for robust humanoid behaviors.
- Build Vision-Language-Action systems for contextual navigation, multi-agent interaction, intent prediction, and safe action in dynamic environments.
- Design and scale data pipelines and evaluation frameworks for large-scale learned behaviors and multimodal navigation models.
- Architect, deploy, monitor, and optimize reliable ML systems for predictable execution on physical robots.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to productionize large vision-language-action models and meet real-world reliability standards.
- Evaluate model architectures, multi-agent strategies, and datasets to shape the embodied-AI and behavior-learning roadmap.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in embodied-AI machine learning and end-to-end learned behaviors using large models such as VLAs, VLMs, transformers, or diffusion models.
- Proven experience deploying, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale ML systems for reliable production use.
- Strong background in spatial reasoning, semantic goals, multi-agent dynamics, crowding, or interactive environments.
- Proficiency in PyTorch and modern tooling for training, fine-tuning, and deploying large-scale foundation models for robotics.
- Strong experimental and engineering ability to take behavior-learning concepts from research through deployment on physical robots.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, research-driven environment.
