Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce B2B Commerce stories end-to-end from design and implementation through unit testing, peer review readiness, and QA handoff.
- Develop Apex, optimized SOQL queries, REST API integrations, commerce-flow customizations, and payment and transaction logic.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, integration leads, and client teams on technical delivery, sequencing, governance, and standards.
- Identify platform risks involving governor limits, API consumers, security, and performance, and propose solutions.
- Improve peer review, CI/CD, test coverage, and deployment governance practices.
- Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and day-to-day mentoring to analysts.
- Participate in agentic AI sessions and use Claude Code in daily engineering workflows.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is stated as required, while the posting also states 0–3 years of Salesforce or software development experience for this level.
- Strong Salesforce Apex skills, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, governor limits, save points, rollback, and unit testing.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud experience with commerce flows, pricing, entitlements, buyer-experience customization, and data-model configuration.
- Experience with SOQL optimization, REST API development, Salesforce versioning, integration patterns, payment and transaction patterns, SFDX, Git, and sprint-based delivery.
- Knowledge of Named Credentials, External Credentials, PII data models, Seam B contract testing or consumer-driven API contract frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ, OMS, or Salesforce Platform Developer or B2B Commerce certification is preferred.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
