Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a suite of finance technology applications as part of a global development team.
- Perform analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Understand business priorities, document requirements, and determine solutions with internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate global testing and application rollout schedules.
- Provide user, operational, and L3 production support for applications and production flows.
- Contribute to DevOps CI/CD pipeline improvements and strategic architecture initiatives.
- Develop security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage.
- Participate in multi-workstream business initiatives and help define operating standards and procedures.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or substantial practical experience in software delivery.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in application development.
- Strong core Java skills and experience with JDBC/JPA and RESTful web services.
- Experience using AI tools and platforms to design, build, test, and enhance application features.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with build and deployment tools including Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and UDeploy.
- Experience testing distributed software applications and working with Unix or Linux.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, drive strategy, and collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
- Experience with Hibernate, JUnit, Spring Boot, microservice-style application development, OpenShift Kubernetes, Kafka, and GemFire/Ignite is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
