Responsibilities
- Deliver software solutions for MES projects in the energy, specialty chemicals, and batch process manufacturing industries.
- Design, develop, and test MES software solutions using the ABB Ability platform.
- Provide technical support for installation and commissioning activities.
- Interpret customer technical specifications and prepare solution estimates.
- Develop solution design specifications and test procedures.
- Share best practices and lessons-learned documentation across projects and disciplines.
- Develop standard processes and tools to improve productivity and quality.
- Provide project schedule estimates and support completion within deadlines.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience designing and implementing web-based applications using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Experience with MS SQL database stored procedures and queries, object-oriented programming concepts, AngularJS, and software development practices.
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis and problem solving.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics, computer science, or IT from a reputed university.
- Experience in MES, material management, equipment tracking, or scheduling is an advantage.
