Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable OmniStudio solutions using OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Lead Salesforce Industries development for CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, and Revenue Cloud initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, best-practice enforcement, and architectural guidance.
- Design, build, and optimize integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and external enterprise systems.
- Drive Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation, Vlocity DataPacks management, and environment governance.
- Lead development teams and collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on OmniStudio experience.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and Lightning Architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries solutions such as CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, or Revenue Cloud.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and third-party systems.
- Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and Vlocity DataPacks.
- Ability to design scalable data models, integration patterns, and modular OmniStudio frameworks.
- Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across business and technology functions.
- Preferred certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or OmniStudio Developer.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile delivery and Test-Driven Development experience, Salesforce and OmniStudio performance optimization, and domain expertise in telecommunications, financial services, or communications cloud implementations.
Benefits
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 to 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Base salary of CAD 70,000–120,000 per year.
- Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus.
