Responsibilities
- Build and extend Mendix’s Agents Kit and its AI portfolio of modules and applications.
- Work with early-adopter customers to shape agentic platform capabilities.
- Develop full-stack solutions and deliver the Mendix SDK using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, CSS, and Java.
- Investigate technical issues thoroughly and prioritize clear, high-quality solutions.
- Own the quality and broader impact of delivered software.
Requirements
- Expert Developer-level Mendix skills and extensive knowledge of Mendix development best practices.
- Ability to independently write a Java method or custom widget.
- Ability to learn new concepts and technologies while solving sophisticated technical problems.
- Ownership of work quality and its impact on others.
- Familiarity with Git and software development collaboration tools.
- Preferred: generative AI experience through education or software development work.
- Preferred: familiarity with MCP, A2A, and other agent-building capabilities.
- Preferred: experience with Agents Kit and the Agent Editor in version 11.9 or later.
- Preferred: experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or another programming language.
- Preferred: day-to-day experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI services from AWS, Azure, or Google.
