Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Horizon 2 search platform modernization project.
- Maintain and evolve search infrastructure operating at 99.9% uptime and large data scale.
- Integrate the Operational Data Layer ingestion pipeline with the new search platform.
- Collaborate on integrations with Mobile, Files, and AI-adjacent search capabilities.
- Perform search-specific and general software engineering work, including code reviews and progressively more complex projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and technical leadership teams.
Requirements
- Experience building or maintaining search systems and interest in developing deeper search engineering expertise.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to learn from experienced engineers and take on increasingly complex problems.
- Strong collaboration skills in a distributed environment.
- Initiative, ownership, and willingness to ask questions and seek support when needed.
