Responsibilities
- Build and own enterprise SSO using OIDC and SAML for customer identity providers.
- Build and own fine-grained, query-time role-based access control across the product.
- Deliver SCIM provisioning and directory synchronization for user and group lifecycle management.
- Build token exchange, on-behalf-of flows, service accounts, and domain-wide delegation for scoped delegated and machine identity.
- Develop entitlements, session and token management, and other access-governance controls that keep access clean and auditable at scale.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building backend systems, including significant experience with identity, authentication, or authorization.
- Strong knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, token exchange, and multi-tenant RBAC.
- Experience building or owning enterprise SSO and identity systems, including identity-provider architecture and enterprise authentication patterns.
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Bonus experience with SCIM, directory synchronization, authorization frameworks or policy engines such as OPA, Cedar, or Zanzibar-style systems.
- Bonus experience with entitlements, usage-based metering, billing systems, multi-tenant SaaS at scale, or startup and growth-stage companies.
