Responsibilities
- Develop scalable cloud applications and software infrastructure.
- Architect and design distributed systems with attention to application scalability and cloud environments.
- Lead small-to-medium features from technical design through completion.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process.
- Improve products and services through technical decisions, design contributions, and software development best practices.
- Advocate for product features that address customer needs and track metrics for product adoption and success.
- Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and automate testing.
- Stay current with software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices and coach others as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 2–4 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Golang, C, or C++.
- Ability to architect and design distributed systems.
- Ability to think critically about application scalability and cloud environments.
- Ability to use AI coding assistants such as Claude and GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred: ability to resolve complex technical problems.
- Preferred: strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: self-motivation and a strong drive to achieve results.
