Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business and user needs.
- Monitor and control analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support activities.
- Analyze complex application and business process issues and provide evaluative judgments and recommendations.
- Develop security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage and system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and assist with customer-facing system exposure.
- Define and follow operating standards and procedures and assess, manage, and report control issues.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy.
