Base Salary
$117k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, experiment with, and implement generative AI and machine learning algorithms, tools, and technologies.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain traditional machine learning and AI models in production.
- Build and maintain MLOps services, cloud API services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code patterns, and workflow automation.
- Manage the end-to-end model development lifecycle from ideation through post-production monitoring.
- Identify opportunities involving new data sources, analytical techniques, and technologies.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, platform, data, cloud enablement, enterprise architecture, and business partners.
- Mentor junior engineers and peers, provide technical thought leadership, and present concepts to technical audiences.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field or five-plus years of equivalent experience in a research or DevOps function.
- Experience developing solutions in AWS, GCP, or both.
- Experience creating repeatable architectural patterns and eliminating redundancies through those patterns.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-based API services.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or an equivalent tool.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, including CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Unix, Git, and strong object-oriented development in Python.
- Experience with the complete machine learning model development lifecycle and post-production monitoring.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Apache Airflow or Autosys.
- Basic understanding of the data science model development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with generative AI, agentic workflows, and embedding LLMs into automated processes.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without company sponsorship.
