Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java automation frameworks using modern design patterns.
- Build and execute Playwright-based UI, API, and backend test suites.
- Create reusable components using Java design patterns, Page Object Model structures, and test data management strategies.
- Automate service-layer and API testing with REST Assured or Playwright APIRequestContext.
- Triage test execution failures using Playwright trace viewers and logs, distinguishing defects from flaky tests.
- Validate end-to-end Wealth Management ecosystems, including CRM, portfolio, advisory, book of record, financial planning, and data integration systems.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for parallel cross-browser execution and reporting.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong Java proficiency, including Streams, Lambdas, Collections, and modern design patterns.
- Hands-on experience developing Java-based automation frameworks.
- At least 2 years of strong Playwright experience for UI automation, API testing, and backend validation.
- Experience with Git, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and AWS S3.
- Strong knowledge of Wealth Management processes, including onboarding, KYC, portfolio management, investment products, accounts, and advisory platforms.
- Experience with Canadian Wealth Management regulations and compliance, including CIRO/MFDA standards, suitability assessments, regulatory reporting, investment account management, and client servicing.
- Ability to analyze and validate end-to-end Wealth Management ecosystems.
- Insurance and/or Wealth Management domain knowledge is preferred.
