Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve backend services and APIs.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and services for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Develop reusable components, frameworks, and tooling for scalable data processing and decisioning workflows.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product, analytics, and design teams.
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and high-quality data integration between systems.
- Lead or participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and exploratory investigations.
- Advocate for performance, scalability, security, observability, and maintainability best practices.
- Support user-facing data capabilities such as visualization, filtering, and structured-data interaction.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and collaboration.
- Use automation, AI-enabled tools, and advanced data capabilities to improve processes and user experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Three or more years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend emphasis.
- Strong proficiency in C# and backend services built with .NET Core or ASP.NET Core.
- Experience designing and supporting production services for availability, observability, performance, and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling, including build and release pipelines, automated tests, and quality gates.
- Working experience with Azure cloud environments.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate requirements into incremental technical solutions.
- Exposure to AI-enabled development tools, code-generation models, embedding models, or vector search.
- Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Must be inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI.
