Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead development for a project or initiative while championing technical excellence and developer experience.
- Guide, mentor, and help build an effective engineering team.
- Define architectural and algorithmic direction for gameplay APIs and tools in collaboration with product design.
- Collaborate with Unreal Engine and Fortnite teams on feature development.
- Optimize and refactor existing systems, fix bugs, and write robust maintainable code.
- Contribute ideas across project production and development.
- Use AI to enhance daily work and empower the team.
Requirements
- Significant experience developing games with Unreal Engine.
- Experience leading an engineering team effectively.
- Demonstrated proactive, courageous leadership and direct, constructive communication.
- Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, including UEFN or Roblox Studio, and the challenges of building tools, workflows, and platforms for developers.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in C++ with deep understanding of gameplay systems, mechanics, and tools.
- Strong teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Scene Graph and Verse is preferred.
