Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and lead the architectural design and strategic direction for the US sports betting and trading platform.
- Evaluate architectural solutions and their impact across the broader technology ecosystem.
- Create and communicate architecture vision documents, roadmaps, target operating models, and governance frameworks.
- Initiate and oversee proofs of concept to validate architectural decisions and mitigate technical risks.
- Advocate for architectural strategy with senior management and technical leadership and secure organizational alignment.
- Provide governance and support to ensure engineered solutions adhere to the architectural vision.
- Represent departmental architectural needs in broader technology discussions.
- Lead the integration of third-party COTS solutions with external architects and technical representatives.
- Drive cross-departmental architectural solutions with departmental architects and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to evolve and improve product architecture.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in distributed systems architecture, high-throughput and low-latency systems, high availability, functional or immutable data models, N-tier architecture, and infrastructure.
- Required experience with cloud technologies and cloud-oriented design; Google GCP expertise is desirable.
- Prior experience designing or working on trading systems, particularly in financial or gambling sectors, is highly desirable.
- Sports betting industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Proven track record creating greenfield enterprise solutions at scale.
- Recognized expertise in core departmental technologies and strong creative problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and architectural governance capabilities.
- Ability to abstract and simplify complex systems for stakeholders and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
