Responsibilities
- Execute quality practices and integrate robust testing strategies into delivery workflows.
- Facilitate validation testing sessions with delivery engineers and product owners before releases.
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable automated testing frameworks.
- Map product features and test cases to unit, integration, and other testing types to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Develop and integrate tests across UI, API, database, performance, security, and stress-testing layers.
- Drive shift-left testing to identify and resolve defects earlier in the development lifecycle.
- Define and track quality metrics that provide actionable insights into software reliability and performance.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience testing mobile and web applications, with mobile testing required.
- Strong understanding of the iOS and Android development ecosystems, including testing and debugging.
- Strong software architecture, design, and workflow skills.
- Proficiency with mobile test automation frameworks such as XCTest or Appium.
- Advanced experience with k6 or similar performance-testing tools.
- Knowledge of Pact or similar contract-testing tools.
- Hands-on experience integrating testing workflows into GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD systems.
- Familiarity with WireMock, Mockito, Testcontainers, or similar backend testing tools.
- Proficiency with Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger/OpenAPI-based API testing.
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience with Allure, TestNG, or similar test-reporting frameworks.
- Proficiency in Swift, TypeScript, and Scala.
- Ability to identify testing issues, improve processes, collaborate with teams, and pursue stretch goals in an innovative environment.
