Base Salary
$200k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Co-own and design a high-performance storage layer for network monitoring data.
- Define and lead the execution of a multi-year technical roadmap for KDE Storage services.
- Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams to establish platform-wide storage standards.
- Solve complex engineering problems related to data-intensive platform storage.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development using Go/C/Rust.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-throughput data pipelines.
- Experience with Timeseries Databases, especially the storage layer.
- Experience with object storage or distributed filesystems.
- Experience designing tiered storage strategies and TTL-based data eviction at scale.
- Strong collaboration skills suitable for a remote-friendly culture.
