Responsibilities
- Own product features end-to-end, from shaping problems with Product and Design through implementation, success metrics, and iteration.
- Build and integrate full-stack systems spanning web interfaces, services, APIs, data layers, and native app webviews and bridges.
- Develop internal platforms, operational tools, and product-heavy backend systems that connect AI and data capabilities to user-facing products.
- Make sound technical trade-offs across rendering, performance, SEO, personalization, caching, architecture, and system complexity.
- Work with event-driven and distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, observability, analytics, and experimentation platforms.
- Provide technical direction and execution support for cross-functional initiatives while increasing the leverage of other engineers and teams.
- Turn ambiguous opportunities and 0-to-1 initiatives into systems or products with measurable business and operational value.
Requirements
- Strong TypeScript skills and depth in at least one modern web framework; experience moving across Angular, Astro, and Svelte is valuable.
- Strong componentization skills, including reusable components, shared modules, framework-agnostic packages, webviews, and JavaScript/native bridges.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Redis, OpenSearch, and SQL-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ and event-driven or messaging architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure patterns.
- Familiarity with Datadog or similar observability and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to LLM integrations, agent frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain, Langfuse, RAG patterns, or workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, product tracking, A/B testing, feature flags, CloudFront Functions, Statsig, or Optimizely.
- Experience with internal platforms, operational tools, product-heavy backend systems, or undefined problem spaces.
- Demonstrated leadership through ownership of difficult projects with broad impact.
- Ability to combine engineering depth, product thinking, business context, judgment, adaptability, and pragmatic execution.
